Where to find it

  • Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > Security category > Password expiration (time unit) setting

Purpose

If Single Sign-On is not used, users are required to change their login password a specific period after the password was last changed (or initially created). The Password expiration (time type) setting specifies the period unit of measure, and this setting specifies the number of these units for this period. At the end of this period, the user will be prompted to change their password when they next log on (and they will not be able to log on until they have changed their password).

Users can also change their password at any time on the Settings > User Info screen in Manager.
