Scope

Purpose

This property specifies the background color of the text element (simulation Control (screen element) or Book Page object). You can either click on the colored square to the left of the property field (which shows the current color) and select or specify the required color in the Color Chooser dialog box, or you can enter the RGB hexadecimal color code directly into the property field. Alternatively, you can click on the checkered square on the left of the property field to set the background color to transparent.

Be careful when using a transparent background that the simulation Control does not contain any existing text, or a graphic of the cursor bar, as this will show through.
