Scope

  • Book Page content object > Shape object > Effect > (Design Click) Border Color property
  • Simulation content object > Shape object > Effect > (Design Click) Border Color property

(This is the third Border Color property in the Effect category, and follows the Design Click checkbox.)

Purpose

If the Design Click property is selected for a shape, then the Border Color (Design Click) property specifies the color that the parent Shape object's border should be changed to when the user clicks on the shape during playback. The shape border remains this color unless another action explicitly changes it again. (Note that the Border Width property must be greater than 0 for any border to display.

Use

You can either click on the colored square to the left of the property field (which shows the current color) and select or specify the required color in the Color Chooser dialog box, or you can enter the RGB hexadecimal color code directly into the property field. Alternatively, you can click on the checkered square on the left of the property field to set the background color to transparent.
