Scope

  • Book Page content object > Shape object > Effect > (Design Click) Border Color (Gradient) property
  • Simulation content object > Shape macro > Effect > (Design Click) Border Color (Gradient) property

(This is the third Border Color (Gradient) property in the Effect category, and follows the Design Click checkbox.)

Purpose

If the Design Click property is selected for a shape, then this property is used to select the color that the Shape's border will transition into, from the Shape's (Design Roll-Over) Border Color, when the user clicks on the Shape during playback. This will use the same gradient effect selected in the parent Shape's Gradient property (you cannot use a different gradient effect on roll-over). The Shape's border color remains this color unless it is explicitly changed by another action. (Note that the parent Shape's Border Width must be set to greater than 0 for any border to be displayed.)

Use

You can either click on the colored square to the left of the property field (which shows the current color) and select or specify the required color in the Color Chooser dialog box, or you can enter the RGB hexadecimal color code directly into the property field. Alternatively, you can click on the checkered square on the left of the property field to set the background color to transparent.
