Hide Option

Scope

• Context Help (Desktop Assistant) object > Mouse Action macro > Hide Option property
• Desktop Assistant: Playback Settings > General > Global category > Hide Option setting

This property is also available in the Guided Tour Style macro, but there it has no effect as Guided Tour Steps are always displayed a Bubbles.

This property is ignored if Use Web Assistant Mode is selected for Desktop Assistant.

Purpose

Desktop Assistant (non-WA Mode) Context Help Bubble showing the Hide option

If this property is selected then the user has the option to prevent the Context Help Bubble (and associated Hotspot) from being shown when they access the application screen.

Help Bubbles hidden in this way will no longer be displayed for the user unless they select the Show All Suppressed Help Again option.
