Placeholder (Placeholder object property)

Scope

• Book Page content object > Placeholder object > Placeholder property

Purpose

This property specifies the information that is to be inserted into the Placeholder object. The following items of information can be selected via this property:

• Book Title (The Book is the highest-level Book in which the Book Page is contained. This is most useful where there are several levels of nested Book.)
• Book Description
• Book Page Title
• Book Page Description
• Chapter Title (The Chapter is the immediate parent Book in which the Book Page is contained.)
• Chapter Title Description
• Page Number
• Page Count
• Text to Speech text (This is typically used to provide 'closed captions' (a.k.a. subtitles) where you have used Text-to-Speech for audio.)

Placeholders are of most use when used within a Template.
