Tags (content object Protocol property)

Scope

• Content object > Protocol category > Tags property

Purpose

The Tags property in the Protocol category should not be confused with the Tags that you can assign yourself in the Basic Properties category. The Protocol property is best thought of as Version Tags, and are used to identify specific versions of a content object. The most common use is the published Tag, which is (unsurprisingly) automatically assigned (to the current version) when the content object (version) is published.

Custom Version Tags can be defined by the Administrator per Workarea, and assigned to content object (versions) as required.
