Scope

Purpose

The Input Text macro is used to capture an action of entering a text string into an editfield in the recorded application. Input Text macros are created automatically during recording, but you can also add them manually via menu option Insert > Insert Interaction > Input Text (although manually-inserted interaction macros will not be pre-populated with object information, rerecord properties, and so on).
